Anti-Graffiti & Easy-Clean Coatings

Technology Overview

Union Defend anti-graffiti coatings provide superior protection against vandalism in public spaces and urban environments. Our specialized polyurethane formulations create a non-porous, chemically resistant surface that allows for quick and repeated removal of graffiti without damaging the underlying coating or compromising its appearance.

Key Performance Features

Effective Graffiti Resistance

Union Defend coatings are engineered to resist penetration from spray paints, markers, and other common vandalism materials. The smooth, crosslinked surface prevents permanent staining and allows for easy removal using appropriate cleaning methods, maintaining the aesthetic integrity of public infrastructure through repeated cleaning cycles.

Multiple Removal Method Compatibility

Our anti-graffiti systems are designed to work with various cleaning approaches, from mild detergent solutions to specialized graffiti removers. This flexibility ensures that maintenance teams can choose the most appropriate and cost-effective cleaning method for each situation without risking damage to the coating.

Durable Chemical Resistance

Beyond graffiti protection, Union Defend coatings offer excellent resistance to chemicals, solvents, and environmental pollutants. This robust protection ensures long-term performance in challenging urban environments where exposure to cleaning agents and atmospheric contaminants is common.

Aesthetic Flexibility

Available in a range of finishes from high-gloss to textured surfaces, Union Defend allows designers to specify the desired appearance without compromising on protection. The coating maintains its visual appeal through multiple graffiti removal cycles, ensuring public spaces remain attractive and well-maintained.
